I'm enjoying reading my "rivers of news" over at Radio3 now that I'm running river.js locally. I still use Fever, but currently only to see what's Hot. Anytime I see a blog I like, I just add its feed to Fever as a "spark." Fever runs an algorithm to see what URLs are linked-to frequently among all my feeds within a specified time frame, and presents those as Hot links. So if I want to get a quick overview of what My Part of the Internet is talking about, I look at Fever. My rivers, on the other hand, include only the blogs I truly follow. I can do this just as easily with Fever groups, but right now I like my rivers.
