Work

I love working in digital! I have experience as an editor, publisher, and web producer. I am familiar/fluent (in varying degrees) in PHP, Javascript, HTML, CSS, and Photoshop (in no particular order). On the business side, I have experience with "blog monetization" and social media.

Web Publisher (Blogger)

I am Editor/Publisher of Sasstrology, a popular website featuring horoscopes and articles about the astrology of sex, love and relationships.

Web Producer

I love outlining, scripting and iOS workflow hacks.

• I have written many URL schemes that help me move/transform text between various iOS apps and Dropbox, and have published them here, here, and at I Miss My Mac.

Dancer

I engage regularly in a movement practice called the Five Rhythms, conceived by Gabrielle Roth. It keeps me sane.

Family Man

I live with my wife, my adolescent daughter, 1 dog, 2 cats, 2 tortoises and 1 turtle, 3 bunnies, and too many lizards and snakes to count. Plus a spider.

Musician

I can play a mean jazz piano, but I rarely sit down at the keys anymore.

Psychotherapist

I am a licensed Mental Health Counselor in NY. After earning my MA in Counseling Psychology at the California Institute of Integral Studies in 1999, I worked at various settings—including community mental health clinics and a foster care agency—until 1996, after which time I transitioned into my current work as a web producer and publisher.

Astrologer

I first studied astrology at a graduate seminar at CIIS under Richard Tarnas. Starting 2001 I started counseling astrology clients professionally. My primary mentor was John Marchesella in NYC. I do not do “readings” anymore -- my involvement in astrology is limited to my work on my website and personal exploration.
